What is Chicago Elevated?
It’s a few things, it’s a place where I can tell you all about my cool new tour – The Pedway Tour (you can just go ahead and click “tours” up there on the left). It’s also a place where I can share some interesting or sad or funny things about Chicago.
This site will focus mostly on Chicago history and architecture, but hopefully with a humorous bent that will make you laugh while you learn something.

I just had a very non-conventional pizza in Bend Oregon. It was at a place called “Pizza Schmizza”. Wow! Had asparagus spears, artichoke hearts and chunks of real chicken breast.
Not the kind that comes out of a blender….| I don’t really care for “Franchise Pizza” anymore. I see more and more “sole proprietor” shops that don’t have their hands tied by Franchise
Requirements. Certainly gives one more flexibility to be crative and responsive to one’s customer base…”| America’s getting fat and I don’t want to participate. While I love pizza,
it’s not conducive to good health so I tend to stay away from where possible…
Oh I agree. We got some good pizza around these parts. Come to Chicago and I’ll show you the best!
